Ground rules for TrainPeak

These terms define the responsibilities of athletes, coaches, and TrainPeak. They focus on safe mentorship, measurable progress, and reliable billing throughout the MVP pilot.

1. Agreement overview

TrainPeak provides a platform that connects athletes and coaches, facilitates video-based feedback, and processes Stripe-powered mentorship subscriptions. By creating an account you agree to follow these terms and any policies referenced here.

2. Eligibility

Athletes must be at least 13 years old or have verified guardian consent.
Coaches must submit accurate profile information and maintain any certifications required by their sport.
We may suspend or deny access if eligibility details are inaccurate or incomplete.

3. Marketplace and subscriptions

All mentorship payments are processed through Stripe and renew on the cadence shown during checkout.
Coaches are responsible for honoring the deliverables in their published plans (video reviews, chat response windows, metric updates).
Athletes may pause or cancel future renewals at any time via the billing portal. No refunds are issued for completed billing periods unless required by law.
TrainPeak collects a platform fee from each subscription to cover infrastructure, analytics, and support.

4. Acceptable use

Share training footage and feedback that you own or have permission to upload.
Do not post abusive, discriminatory, or unsafe content. We may remove material or suspend accounts that violate this principle.
Keep login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

5. Data and security

We store video, metric, and communication data to deliver the MVP experience. Details on collection, usage, and retention are outlined in the Privacy Policy. You grant TrainPeak and assigned coaches the right to process submitted content for mentorship purposes.

6. Disclaimers and limitations

TrainPeak is not responsible for injuries or outcomes that occur during training. Always consult qualified professionals before changing your regimen.
We provide the platform on an "as is" basis and disclaim warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Our liability is limited to the fees you paid to TrainPeak in the twelve months preceding any claim.

7. Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms, misuse data, or compromise athlete safety. Termination does not relieve you of outstanding payment obligations.
